We’re hosting an informal mehendi (i.e. henna) party for immediate family and close friends to kick off the wedding weekend! There’ll be henna artists ready to adorn your hands, along with great food, music, photo ops, and plenty of casual fun all around.

Wedding & Reception
Date: Saturday, June 27, 2026
Ceremony Time: 5:00PM
Venue: The Barn at Trinity Tree Farm
Address: 14237 228th Ave SE, Issaquah, WA 98027
Our wedding will be an outdoor ceremony, followed by an indoor/outdoor cocktail hour and reception (weather permitting). Please plan to arrive 15–30 minutes early, so you have ample time to get settled before the ceremony begins.
We can’t wait to celebrate this day with you!
Our venue is pet-friendly, and we’re happy for you to bring your furry companion along to celebrate with us. We kindly ask that pets are not left unattended, and that you bring any supplies they may need (food, bowls, etc.). Please also plan to clean up after them.
The closest major airport is Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). The drive to Issaquah typically takes about 40 minutes from the airport. We recommend arranging a car or rideshare, as public transportation options are somewhat limited, with travel times ranging from 1.5–2 hours.
Accomodation
There are many hotels and AirBnBs available in Issaquah and surrounding cities. You’re also welcome to stay in Seattle, Bellevue, or Renton — each is about a 30-minute drive from the venue.
We don’t have a hotel block reserved, so please feel free to choose whatever works best for you. We’ve listed a few options (recommended by our venue) below.
US Visas and Immigration
If you’re traveling to the U.S. for our wedding, we recommend keeping a copy of the wedding invitation with you, as it can be helpful if you’re asked any questions at immigration. If you’d like a personal letter of invitation with additional details, we’re more than happy to provide one. Please reach out to us anytime.
If you’re applying for a visa, we suggest scheduling your interview in your country of citizenship. Appointment slots can fill up quickly, so planning ahead can make the process smoother.
During your stay, it’s a good idea to carry your immigration documents with you at all times, as this may be required.
For our fusion wedding, we highly encourage festive, maximalist Indian attire. Bold colors, rich fabrics, sparkle, and all the drama. If that’s not possible, no worries at all. Just wear your most colorful, joyful outfit. ✨
Indian weddings are an extremely vibrant affair, with every guest dressed to impress. It’s even common for people to re-wear their own wedding outfits at other celebrations! There’s truly no restrictions on color, and no concept of upstaging anyone, so have no fear while choosing your look.
We’ve put together a Pinterest board with a few examples to help guide you, especially if this style of attire is new to you. If you’re shopping locally, there are many great options in the Greater Seattle Area, and we’ve included a list of stores below.
Shopping Online
There are many online stores that sell a variety of Indian wear, and we’ve linked a few of our favorites below. However, please keep the following in mind when ordering Indian clothes online:
Many of you are traveling for our wedding, and we’d love to make your stay fun!
For starters, here’s a list of our favourite spots in the area for food and drinks
Our wedding is sandwiched between two long weekends, and early summer is a perfect time to explore the gorgeous nature in the Pacific Northwest. We’ve listed some of our favorites places to visit in Seattle (and Washington) below.
We love to travel, and so instead of traditional gifts, we’d be thrilled if you helped us fund one of our bucket list experiences.
To make it fun, you get to vote for the experience you’d love to see us have with your contribution! We will embark upon whichever experience sees the largest amount of contributions. Irrespective of your choice, we promise to send you a postcard and a photo from our trip!
Our love extends to the ends of the Earth — literally.
Blue glacial skyscrapers, enormous icebergs drifting in silence, and legions of penguins along frozen shorelines: we dream of an 11-day Antarctic Peninsula expedition!
Itinerary: From Argentina, we’ll cross the Drake Passage on a small ship, then board Zodiac boats to explore the South Shetland Islands and Antarctic Peninsula. We’ll witness penguin rookeries, humpback whales in icy bays, and resting leopard seals. Even moments on deck with a hot drink will feel surreal, truly representing “getting away from it all.”
This is a once-in-a-lifetime journey into a landscape few ever see in person.
Come for the predators, stay for the piña coladas.
Golden savannas, the low rumble of lions, and turquoise waters beckon us on a journey from East Africa to the Indian Ocean.
Itinerary: We’ll start in northern Tanzania, safari through Tarangire and the Serengeti, and explore Ngorongoro Crater, spotting wildebeest, giraffes, elephants, and big cats. Next, we’ll fly to Zanzibar to relax on soft beaches, sail a traditional dhow at sunset, and enjoy a couples massage.
This is the ultimate African safari vacation combined with the serene magic of the Swahili Coast.
We want to snorkel from our front yard.
A private villa on stilts above a lapis lazuli ocean, where fish dart beneath sun-warmed decks and lush coral gardens: we dream of a week suspended between sky and sea in the Maldives.
Itinerary: Our trip begins in Malé, followed by a speedboat or seaplane ride to our island home. For five nights, we’ll stay in an overwater bungalow. Days will drift gently with snorkeling from our deck and relaxing on our private terrace.
This place feels almost imaginary until you’re there: a tiny island in a vast ocean and a dream come true.
